At Solid Holistic Care, we provide various shared accommodation options for people living with an intellectual, physical and psychosocial disability in a nurturing and safe environment whilst building independence. Our disability group homes are located across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Port Stephens.

Specialised Dementia Care Home
Nestled in a quiet pocket of Fletcher, this modern single-storey brick home offers a calm, dementia-friendly environment that feels welcoming and familiar.
With four well-sized bedrooms featuring built-in robes, a single spacious communal living area, and a contemporary shared kitchen, the home supports both privacy and connection throughout the day.
This dementia-specific home is suitable for male or female participants living with dementia, with a supportive 1:2 care ratio and a 24/7 team, including active night support (depending on funding), to promote safety, dignity, and independence. The home is fully furnished throughout the communal areas, with participants welcome to personalise their own bedroom with their own furniture and belongings, creating a space that truly feels like home.
Age and Gender Suitability:
- This property is a dementia specific home and suitable for a male or female living with dementia, with a support ratio of 1:2.
Bills and Rent:
- Accommodation for SIL funded participants: 25% of DSP and 100% of Rent Assistance.
- Boarding for SIL funding participants: 50% of DSP and 100% of Energy Supplement.
What the Participant needs to provide:
- Participants moving in using SIL funding will need to provide their own bedroom furniture.
