Our SIL Housing Vacancies
At Solid Holistic Care, we provide various shared accommodation options for people living with an intellectual, physical and psychosocial disability in a nurturing and safe environment whilst building independence. Our disability group homes are located across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Port Stephens.

Enjoy open spaces, communal living areas, a shared modern kitchen, and a bathroom.
The backyard has a large undercover alfresco area and a fully fenced backyard.
Age and Gender Suitability:
- This property is best suited to a participant male or female living with a psychosocial diagnosis, Down syndrome, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury & funded for support care ratio of 1:3.
Bills and Rent:
- Accommodation for SIL funded participants: 25% of DSP and 100% of Rent Assistance.
- Boarding for SIL funding participants: 50% of DSP and 100% of Energy Supplement.
What the Participant needs to provide:
- Participants moving in using SIL funding will need to provide their own bedroom furniture.

1 Vacancy – male or female with a psychological diagnosis, intellectual disability or acquired brain injury.
Levels of Support:
- Standard – High Intensity funded STA, MTA or SIL.
- 24/7 Support Team with sleepover
- Active night funding available

- Meal Preparation and Grocery Shopping
- Support with Household Tasks
- Appointment Management
- Assistance with Daily Living, including personal care
Furniture Provided:
- This home is completely furnished in all communal spaces.
