At Solid Holistic Care, we provide various shared accommodation options for people living with an intellectual, physical and psychosocial disability in a nurturing and safe environment whilst building independence. Our disability group homes are located across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Port Stephens.

Our Poppy Supported Independent Living home is specifically designed for individuals with dementia.
This beautiful new wheelchair accessible home is located in Edgeworth, with 4 bedrooms, all with built-in robes, double driveway and double lockable garage.
There are 2 accessible bathrooms located within the home, a ceiling hoist, modern shared living areas and a shared kitchen space.
The backyard is fully fenced for privacy and security.
Age and Gender Suitability:
- This property is best suited to a participant male or female with a dementia diagnosis & support care ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.
Bills and Rent:
- Accommodation for SIL funded participants: 25% of DSP and 100% of Rent Assistance.
- Boarding for SIL funding participants: 50% of DSP and 100% of Energy Supplement.
What the Participant needs to provide:
- Participants moving in using SIL funding will need to provide their own bedroom furniture.
